SolidTec planetary mixers are designed for the production of ready-mix concrete and various concrete mixes across a wide range of classes, produced from commonly available raw materials such as sand, aggregate, cement, water, and specialized additives and admixtures. These devices offer high performance in the range of 30 to 120 m³/h. The installation can be fully automated and computer-controlled. The system performs excellently both directly on construction sites and in precast plants, working as an independent unit or as an element of complete production lines and concrete machinery sets.
The operational specifics of SolidTec equipment are based on the advanced planetary movement of the mixing arms and blades. The continuous trajectory and extremely intensive working movement, combined with the optimal angle of attack of the blades, guarantee the highest mixing efficiency while minimizing the wear on the drum lining plates and other consumable components. The bottom scraper effectively lifts material from the floor and accelerates the emptying of the mixer, while the side scraper is responsible for continuously cleaning the walls of mix residues. This architecture ensures an excellent filling factor, instant homogenization of the mix, uniform operating speed, and an exceptionally short discharge cycle. The entire unit is mounted directly on a stable supporting structure.
The comfort and safety of daily operation are enhanced by a wide inspection hatch, which facilitates routine maintenance and servicing, and allows for safe observation of the mixing state during uninterrupted operation of the equipment. The inspection door is equipped with a durable sealing profile to prevent dusting and a strict safety switch that cuts off power, guaranteeing maximum protection for the operator during maintenance work.
The discharge gate opening arrangement can be based on a pneumatic or hydraulic system, depending on the specification and configuration of the concrete batching plant. The discharge door is equipped with a special mechanical sealing strip resistant to high loads, which effectively prevents cement slurry leakage. The hydraulic version of the gate also features an integrated emergency manual opening mechanism, allowing the mixer to be safely and efficiently emptied of its batch in the event of a sudden power outage at the plant.
The rotational speed and revolutions of the blades have been thoroughly researched and tested to provide the mixer with high efficiency without causing the segregation of materials of different grain sizes and weights. The movement of material inside the pan is smooth and continuous. As shown in the figure, the path of the blades covers the entire bottom of the pan after a cycle.
